Pain Treatment

Experience targeted pain relief with our evidence-based physiotherapy techniques.
We treat acute and chronic pain caused by musculoskeletal conditions, sports injuries, arthritis, and post-surgical recovery. Our qualified physiotherapists combine manual therapy, exercise prescription, and modern modalities such as Shockwave Therapy and Laser Therapy to reduce inflammation, restore movement, and improve quality of life.

Whether your pain is due to injury, posture, or long-term conditions, our personalised treatment plans aim to help you move freely and live pain-free again

Shockwave Therapy

Shockwave therapy uses acoustic pressure waves to stimulate the body’s natural healing process. By promoting controlled inflammation and increasing blood flow, it helps transition chronic conditions (like tendon or fascia pain) back into an active healing phase.

Studies show that RPW therapy is effective for tendinopathies, plantar fasciitis, calcific shoulder pain, and chronic muscle tightness—offering measurable pain relief and improved mobility.

Laser Therapy

Laser therapy is a safe and effective treatment used to relieve pain, reduce inflammation, and accelerate the healing process. By delivering targeted light energy to the affected area, it stimulates cellular repair, improves circulation, and promotes natural tissue recovery.

At Inspire Physiocare (IPC), our practitioners use laser therapy as part of a personalised treatment plan to help manage a variety of conditions, including sports injuries, joint pain, arthritis, and soft tissue damage. This non-invasive approach can also support faster recovery post-surgery or injury, improving mobility and overall function.

Lightwave Therapy

LightForce Photobiomodulation Therapy (PBMT) uses focused light energy to boost cell repair, reduce inflammation, and relieve pain. The multi-wavelength laser penetrates deep into muscles and tendons to enhance recovery and mobility.

When used together, Shockwave and LightForce Therapy create a powerful synergy.

  • Shockwave stimulates the body’s initial pro-inflammatory response, “restarting” the healing process.

  • LightForce therapy then enhances cellular regeneration and reduces inflammation.

Clinical studies show that combining these treatments significantly improves pain reduction and functional recovery in conditions like plantar fasciitis and tendinopathies, compared to using either therapy alone.

What to expect during treatment

During your session, our clinicians may use both RPW and LightForce in a structured protocol tailored to your condition. LightForce treatment is painless, warm, and soothing, while Shockwave creates a brief mechanical stimulation sensation. Most patients experience relief after 2–3 sessions and cumulative benefits with ongoing treatment.
